The 1st public event "Information Day" organized by Hue University of Agriculture and Forestry
The SWAP Information Day event was started 2 p.m. on 1st December 2022 at the Hall Building located HUAF’s main campus. There are 171 participants involved in the “SWAP Information Day” event of whom 11 are representatives of enterprises, 48 are high school pupils, 112 are university students and 4 are HUAF staff . Ms. Le Thi Thuy Hang, Senior Officer of HUAF presented the objectives and agenda of the SWAP Information Day and then introduced the brief of SWAP project. After that, Dr. Ve Quoc Linh presented the academic training at Bachelor and Master levels relating to “Sustainable Solid Waste Management and Policies” which are being implemented at HUAF. Besides, he introduced the TVET courses relating to solid waste management which will be held at our university. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy An, Officer from Department of Academic and Students’ Affairs introduced the information about internship programs, student exchange programs, job fairs, scholarship at HUAF. After the presentation, the participants raised some questions such as the fees, the internship places, the duration of MSc and Bachelor courses. The participants was excited this event. They said that it’s very useful for them to get more information of academic training and TVET courses. The enterprises suggested that VET courses should be informed soon once HUAF will conducted these courses. They will send the representatives of companies to attend and disseminate the VET courses for other enterprise to involve in.
